FC Schalke 04 actively takes action against excessive resale of its tickets. As described in the mission statement under point 4, the club enables its supporters from all social classes to participate in club life and attend matches within the framework of its financial circumstances.

The ticket exchange celebrated its comeback in the 2023/2024 season. As Königsblau observed an increase in black market ticket trading during the coronavirus pandemic, the club is now taking stronger action against this negative development.

In order to ensure this as comprehensively as possible, the club has commissioned the sports law firm Lentze Stopper, based in Munich and Berlin, since the summer of 2023, to take legal action against the ticket black market.

To prevent tickets being used in breach of contract, Schalke takes action in such cases, including denying access to the VELTINS-Arena, banning affected sellers from purchasing tickets in the future and imposing contractual penalties.
